LISTING 1:

Curriculum Coordinator
All Saints Catholic SchoolRichmond, VA

All Saints Catholic School is seeking a well-prepared, innovative educator for the position of Curriculum Coordinator.  This position will involve administrative duties as well as teaching responsibilities. The successful candidate will teach classes of high school and middle school math as well as provide instructional support to the faculty as the school enhances its science, math, and technology programs.  Applicants must hold a Virginia teaching certificate with an endorsement in math for middle and high school.  All Saints Catholic School, whose student population is drawn from a wide area of Metropolitan Richmond, values diversity of cultures and creeds. Music Director (Part-Time)

St. Mary’s Catholic Church, a vibrant and diverse parish of more than 850 families in Blacksburg, VA, seeks to hire a part-time music director (15-20 hours/week) to accompany and direct our adult and youth choirs at three weekend Masses (Saturday 5 pmSunday 8:45 a.m. and 11:30 am).  The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills, choral conducting and vocal training experience, a knowledge of liturgical music in a variety of styles, a solid understanding of Catholic liturgy and the ability to work in cooperation with and under the direction of the parish priest and Director of Liturgy. Keyboard proficiency is required.  The ability to play both organ and piano is a plus. A music degree is preferred but not required. In addition to coordination of the adult and youth choirs, the director will help develop the cantor ministry and coordinate wedding and funeral music.
